Summer Look Book

Summer has officially started in my eyes as we have gone past the 20 degrees mark several times already! I know Summer doesn't officially start until June 20th, but when it's 22 degrees and I am in a Summer dress, it has already started!  I feel as though my style and tastes have changed so much this year as I have stepped into my capsule wardrobe era.  All of my pieces are more tailored and structured, more neutral and I have stepped away from bold patterns and trend pieces.  This has been a gradual process, but a very natural one and I am more comfortable now with my style than ever before.  I have put together 8 looks here that I cannot wait to wear, that will hopefully inspire you to dress with confidence this Summer!

1) LOOK ONE

This beautiful linen puff sleeve blouse is part of the influencer Chloe Rose's collection with nakd fashion and it's stunning.  I love the drama in the sleeves, but the linen fabric makes it more casual.  I have it styled here with neutral trousers, but it also looks great with white linen shorts if it's a little bit warmer.

2) LOOK TWO

This all neutral look is so chic.  I love the simplicity of it, it can look really smart for any occasion.  I would love to have the Loewe satin blouse to wear with this look but budgets don't stretch that far unfortunately.

3) LOOK THREE

This look went out of stock so fast on H&M, I was lucky to be able to get it!! It's a two piece that looks so effortless when styled by itself, but I really enjoy wearing the skirt with a blazer also and the waistcoat with jeans or with shorts.  It's a very versatile outfit that can be mixed and matched.

4) LOOK FOUR

I feel so sophisticated in this outfit, I can't even tell you.  All of these pieces were so affordable but I think it looks really expensive and so well put together.  I love the shape of the trousers, they're unlike anything else I own.  The sandals also are so on trend right now.  I've seen sandals with the metal detail on the toe from Massimo Dutti for over £100 and these I snapped up for £29.99.

5) LOOK FIVE

This is a very simple but effective look for Summer.  It can be very hard in Summer when it's really hot to dress stylish as all you want to do is throw on a vest and some shorts.  This look is perfect for all those hot day needs, but looks really chic.

6) LOOK SIX

I wore this dress in Japan and it was the dream.  It is so floaty and can be dressed up or down for any occasion.  Here I was wearing it with trainers for the day, but for the evening you could throw on some sandals, ballet flats or some heels.  This is very similar to the Chanel dress that Sophia Richie Grange wore over her wedding weekend.

7) LOOK SEVEN

This is the perfect white dress for any Summer occasion.  I love the shape of the sleeves and the way it fits really nicely around the waist and then is floaty at the bottom.  You can buy this from Instagram as it's a small independent brand.

8) LOOK EIGHT

My final look is another perfect look for those really hot days in the UK or on holiday.  It looks really chic and effortless as it's all neutral and the pops of black details with it are very on trend and tie the whole look together.
