Spring/Summer LookBook

Spring will arrive tomorrow, according to the official calender Spring start date and the sun is finally here!  I am busy preparing for my Summer wardrobe and getting really excited about it.  This is the time of year everyone craves the long awaited sun and looks forward to Spring and Summer style.  Summer holidays are booked or being researched.  Concerts, festivals and events are being planned and you want to look great at everything!  I'm going to Paris over Easter, which is what kick started me into looking for outfits and then creating a lookbook for you all to get inspired too!  Here are my 8 best looks from my recent purchases for getting Spring/Summer ready.

1) LOOK 1 - This is a super floaty and fun top that paired with jeans and even a leather jacket can look cool.  You could also wear it with white, cream or beige jeans to make it look more summery.

2) LOOK 2 - I adore the print and colour of this floaty dress.  I think it looks really expensive and has just the right amount of frill and floatiness.  It looks great with all tan or all black accessories or equally looks good loose without a belt.  It can be worn casually in the day or dressed up with heels and accessories for the evening. What is even better is the sides have ties so you can give the dress whatever fit you like, which is great for eating a lot at dinner or even pregnant women with growing bumps!

3) LOOK 3 - For all my green obsessed ladies, how much do we love this outfit? This very chic, French Chanel vibe is a definite for me in Paris.  You could wear it with tights before the temperature gets warmer and even without the jacket in Summer these shorts are a classic bemuda fit.  Also, find me an outfit this Valentino vlogo reversible belt doesn't go with? It's one of the best investment purchases I have ever made.

4) LOOK 4 - This yellow milk maid style dress is beautiful.  If you hadn't noticed, floral and frilly dresses are in! Everything in my lookbook gives me Zimmerman vibes, which is always the look I am going for in Summer.

5) LOOK 5 - How flattering is the lace on this dress? It's positioned to make your waist look small and create a beautiful shape to the skirt, which looks identical to the style of Isabel Marant pieces, but definitely has a smaller price tag.  It creates a 2 piece feel to the dress that is very popular right now. I can't get over how pretty this floral print is and could be worn for so many occasions.  You could wear this to lunch, brunch or even a wedding.

6) LOOK 6 - The short suit set is something that was on trend last year, but I just couldn't find the perfect set for me! This year I have found it and it's more in trend than ever.  This tailored look for Women is going nowhere and I think it looks super trendy.  Plus, this pop of yellow is something else!

7) LOOK 7 - Look at the sleeves on this dress?? They are so fabulous and have so much drama.  The linen material is actually really warm, making it a really good Spring dress.  I unfortunately got this in the sale, so there may not be any left.  I have linked a beautiful alternative below.

8) LOOK 8 - I feel I could not have nailed the Zimmerman shorts and top co-ord better if I had tried.  This outfit needs no words, but I will use them anyway! It's clean, well structured, chic and looks so classic.  Pair it with a basket bag and you're ready for Summer.  I have already tried the shorts with floral blouses and it looks amazing, just like the crochet top looks great with jeans. I just love an all white outfit in Summer, it looks so fresh!
