The Once Beloved edit club

Hello and welcome to the once beloved edit club.  This is a new business and a new Space that I am launching.  It's a space where I want to promote sustainability, individuality and a community.  I have big plans for future projects and collections and how to create my community around shopping and curating vintage, but for now let me show you what I have started.  My journey started because I wore a dress that I bought on Vinted and reworked it into a mini dress into London and I got a lot of compliments.  So I thought, do I have something here?  I bought a few more and reworked them up and they sold so quickly on Vinted!  So I decided to make a collection, which was going to be just one collection of 8 dresses and casually sold on my personal Instagram.  Anyone who knows me knows I don't do things by halves, so this slowly turned into me starting my own business and going mad purchasing night dresses.  So as of today, I have officially launched two dress collections and many more separately on Vinted.  My vibe was to recreate something that was very Doen, free people, Rixo and Sezanne vibes, which are all really popular brands right now, but make it affordable.  I know I hit that brief, because the first person that ordered from me said it gave Doen Vibes!!  So let me show you the collections and if you like them, please head over to my Instagram @theoncebelovededit to see more and see what I have coming up next.

Introducing the Awakening Collection

This was my first collection which was soft and whimsical with delicate hues of pinks and blues, dreamy lace textures and all the charm of vintage pieces with a modern twist.  All these dresses have been sourced and curated by myself and reworked into mini dresses.  Let me show you them individually:

1) The Rosalie dress

This dress sold instantly and I had some people who wanted it but were too late!  It's very unlikely once I have sourced something that I will find the same one again, but that is the charm of it, you're getting unique and individual pieces.  It has lovely scattered pink blooms all over it and a delicate lace trimmed v neckline and baby doll shape.  She feels like glossy pink lips and strawberries picked straight from the punnet.

2) The Orelia Dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  It has a soft white base scattered with pink blossoms and green stems.  It has the prettiest lace detailing across the chest and a delicate ribbon tie at the neckline.  She feels like pressed flowers tucked inside old books, secret gardens and ribbons tied around hand written letters.

3) The Celeste dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  This dress has a light and romantic vibe with broderie anglaise throughout.  She has a beautifully scalloped lace v neckline and the sweetest pink ribbon tie at the centre.  She feels like cream teas in the garden, sun warmed stone cottages and wandering home throughout the countryside on a long summer evening.

4) The Elodie dress

I did miraculously manage to get two of these, so even though one has sold, I still have one available over on @theoncebelovededit.  She has a delicate floral print, soft blue hues and the prettiest scalloped lace bib detail with tiny buttons trailing down the front.  She feels like bluebells, English gardens and slow summer afternoons.

5) The Primrose dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  This dress has airy white fabric, delicate faded blooms in blush pink and soft blues and the prettiest lace trimmed neckline.  She feels like wildflower meadows and slow summer afternoons.

6) The Phoebe dress

This dress has sold.  She is in the softest powder blue with delicate little floral sprigs scattered across the fabric.  Delicate lace detailing and a pretty scalloped trim softly frames the neckline, with a row of tiny pearl buttons trailing down the front.  She has the feeling of sun dappled gardens, hand written love letters and picnics beside the water.

7) The Arabella dress

I know I shouldn't have favourites, but this one was definitely my favourite and she sold instantly!  She has a soft white fabric scattered with tiny colourful hearts.  She has a delicate floral embroidery and the prettiest scalloped neckline edged with lace.  She feels like picnics in the park and ice creams on warm afternoons.

8) The Eloise dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  This whimsical dreamy mini is made with soft white cotton, delicate broderie anglaise and the prettiest scalloped lace high neckline.  She is trimmed with lace on the sleeves and finished with a tiny ribbon bow.  She feels like old love letters and sun drenched bedrooms.

Introducing the Bloom Collection

This was my second collection and it's a romantic little garden of 8 reworked mini dresses, blooming in a mix of colours, prints and sizes.  I wanted this collection to have more colour, so there's no white dresses here and to have a bit more variety in lengths and sizes.

1) - The Peony dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  This pink vintage night dress has delicate blush tones, pretty lace detailing and the loveliest gathered bib across the front, finished with tiny buttons trailing down the centre.  She's inspired by the peony in full bloom, soft, blushy and wonderfully romantic.  Like secret gardens, sun warmed petals and slow summer mornings.

2) The Marigold dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  She has tiny yellow, blue and green florals scattered across the fabric, finished with delicate scalloped lace, a gathered bib across the front and the loveliest little yellow ribbon tie.  She's sunny, delicate and wonderfully nostalgic, like golden hour gardens, old fashioned flower pits and ribbons tied around freshly picked posies.

3) The Lavender dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  She has the prettiest soft lilac hue, an easy floaty shape and a beautifully embroidered lace yoke, finished with scalloped detailing, delicate rows of floral embroidery and the sweetest little rose at the neckline.  She's inspired by Lavender and that unmistakable Parma violet shade.  Think old fashioned sweet shops and tiny violets pressed between book pages.

4) The Wildflower dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit. She has a delicate embroidered textured and the sweetest floral print, sprinkled with tiny pink, yellow and purple wildflowers.  Finished with pretty lace edging, delicate gathered detailing and a charming button front bodice.  She's inspired by a wildflower meadow in full bloom and like pressed flowers in old books,

5) The Daisy dress

This dress has sold.  She has the softest yellow sun washed hue and the prettiest scalloped lace neckline, finished with delicate gathered detailing and a gently tie at the front.  She's a little ode to the daisy, carefree, sunny and effortlessly sweet.

6) The Tulip dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  She has the softest peach hue, a floaty silhouette and the sweetest embroidered bib collar, finished with delicate floral details, scalloped edging and a tiny button fastening at the neckline.  She has that lovely old fashioned charm of a tulip just beginning to open.

7) The Butter Cup dress

This dress has sold.  She has a delicate yellow hue, airy embroidered fabric and a dreamy square neckline.  Finished with pretty scalloped lace, intricate eyelet detailing and the loveliest gathered bodice.  She's inspired by a buttercup meadow in the height of summer, gold petals, warm breezes and long afternoons beneath a sun drenched sky.

8) The Forget me not dress

This dress is still available over on @theoncebelovededit.  This dress has the softest blue hue, delicate texture and dreamy ruffled neckline, finished with pretty scalloped lace edging.  She's inspired by the forget me not and like faded blue china, hand written love letters and quiet mornings beneath a clear summer sky.
