Is Vintage St Michael's back for M&S? I have a vintage curating business called @theoncebelovededit over on Instagram and I type in St Michaels when searching for vintage pieces over anything else and I find the best pieces. So when I was in Marks and Spencer recently and I saw the St Michaels branding on a food product, I got so excited. A little bit of history.... St Michael was an iconic private label introduced by Marks and Spencer in 1928 as a high quality brand. It was a brand that you knew in M&S had the highest standard of textiles and materials. By the 1950s and for the next fifty years, almost all goods sold by Marks and Spencer's used the St Michael brand. The brand was dropped in the early 2000s as part of a rebranding.
